2026 Tri-City Wolverines Youth Girls Flag Football

We are excited to announce the inaugural 2026 Tri-City Wolverines Youth Girls Flag Football Program! Thank you for your interest.

The following Girls Flag Football Divisions will be offered for the 2026 season (Age as of 7/14/2026):

8U (5v5)

10U (5v5)

12U (7v7)

14U (7v7)

This is a competitive level of flag football that includes the following:

Practice 2-3 nights per week (Tentatively Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) at Troy Middle School starting on July 15, 2026.

Play 6 regular season games (1 game per week) starting August 1, 2026 with 2 weeks of playoffs if they qualify. Game locations TBD.

Flag Football Equipment Provided by Tri-City (with signed equipment contract):

Helmet (Yours to keep)

Shorts (Yours to keep)

Flag Belt

Home and Away Game Jerseys (Yours to keep)

Backpack (Yours to keep)

Required Flag Football Equipment (Not Included):

Optional Baseline Concussion Test (See Team Physician)

Mouth Guard

Cleats / Turf Shoes

Practice Pants / Shorts and Practice Shirt

Team Placement and Evaluation:

All players will be evaluated by coaches and placed on teams according to the Chicagoland Pop Warner Age Matrix. The matrix can be found here: Chicagoland Pop Warner Age Calculator and Matrix.

Financial Requirements:

Mandatory Payment: The $275 payment is due when registering and required to secure your athlete’s roster spot.

Uniform Order: Uniform fittings are mandatory. Once fitted, your registration is non-refundable if you decide not to participate or if the season is canceled due to reasons beyond our control.

Refund Policy: There is a NO REFUND POLICY after the second week of practice.

Girls Flag Football Equipment and Uniform Fittings:

All Girls Flag Football players must attend an equipment and uniform fitting date to be fitted for a helmet and jersey sizing. Players will also have the opportunity to request their jersey number at one of the Open House Fitting dates.

Certification Requirements:

Please visit TC Wolverines Scholastics for complete certification requirements. A birth certificate is required to be uploaded upon registration, in addition to electronic signatures for the 2026-2027 Youth Participant Medical History Form and the 2026-2027 Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form. A complete 2025-2026 report card will need to be turned in during the first week of practice that includes the athlete’s name, school, and grade. No screenshots will be accepted. Further details regarding scholastic eligibility to play are located on the website indicated above.

This is a mandatory step to ensure eligibility for participation in the 2026 season.
